Pledging to continue to run his courtroom with “Common sense and no nonsense,” Jason Verdigets announced that he is seeking another term as judge in the 23rd Judicial District, comprised of Ascension, Assumption and St. James Parishes. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd with early voting taking place October 20 through 27.
“As the district’s longest serving and most experienced judge, I have presided over more than 13,000 criminal and civil cases, strictly following the law to impose punishment when warranted and render fair judgements in other instances,” Verdigets said. “I will continue to use this invaluable experience and unique knowledge of our court system to provide our community with the service it needs, expects and deserves.”
